Applefest 2010

September 20, 2010

Dear Pre-K Parents,

Applefest 2010 will be held on Saturday, October 9th, at the North Hills Campus of Winchester Thurston School from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It will be filled with a fun day of games, crafts, music, rides, prizes, and of course, raffle baskets bursting with treasures!

Help us collect items for the WT Applefest Raffle Baskets. Last year’s baskets were a huge success thanks to the outstanding help from WT parents. The Pre-K class theme will be “Cooking With Kids”. Parents are asked to donate related items for the “Cooking With Kids” basket. Please deliver your donations for the basket to the classroom where the teacher will have a spot for collecting the items.

If you would prefer to make a monetary donation for a Pre-K room parent to purchase items for you, please send a check payable to Stephen Cooper or Melissa Awais so that it will arrive by Oct 6th.

There is no obligation to participate or a set amount to give. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at the phone numbers and or e-mail addresses below.

This year’s Pre-K booth is ‘Fishing for Apples’ that will be shared with the Kindergarten class. Please sign up for a shift on the sheet located on the Kindergarten door. The assignments are in 30-minute intervals and parents are encouraged to have kids work with them! Look for the sign-up sheet for the booth if you did not have a chance to sign-up on Parent’s Night.

Thank you!

Kind regards
