Room Parents: Halloween Party

The Pre-K Halloween Party will be on Friday, October 30th. The kids will enjoy some fun activities in the classroom from 1:15pm until 2:00pm. At 2:00pm, the children will join all the other students for a sing-a-long in the Multipurpose Room followed by a parade around the outside of the building (weather permitting). Parents are welcome to join the festivities in the Multipurpose Room at 2:00pm and then pick up their child after the parade at 2:30pm.

Snacks for the party will be provided by the food services department to ensure allergy-free ingredients. Treats are not required. However, if you would like to send in a treat, it must be individually wrapped so that the children can take it home.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in their costumes!

Regards,
Anita, Sara & Lucy

  1. Marie, we have a school-wide pajama day in lieu of costumes. I have ‘A Day in the Dark’ with flashlights and glow sticks. My tables and sensory bin are covered with foil. Black playdoh and glow sticks, black fish tank gravel with fish tank stones to scoop and explore with flashlights. My favorite is our circle time science experiment, ‘Translucent or Opaque’. I use a flashlight and we shine it through a number of different objects, predicting ahead of time if the object will be translucent or opaque. Just some ideas for your next pajama day.
