Some Guys, A Bridge and Some More Guys

The children have been making masks and puppets over the last few weeks.  Each chose their own character(s).  Some characters are familiar such as a goat, a wolf and a pig.  Others are characters from as yet untold tales.  The children decided that they wanted to test their masks out on “The Bridge Game.”  Each child’s character bloomed and evolved on the spot.  There is not a script and no one practiced. 1. Love it!! We do “Jack and the Beanstalk” as often as we do “The Three Billy Goats Gruff”, with the children planning much of it. I wish I could post pictures, but that’s a big no-no at school. I still separate my newsletters and blog, as not all parents want to read lengthier pieces. Would love to send you some of my parent newsletters.
